INFORMATION DIRECTORY (1) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * The Glencoe Public Library is a unit of local government incorporated and organized under the laws of the State of Illinois for the purpose of providing its residents with the following services:
The approximate amount of the operating budget of the Library for the March 1, 2012 to February 29, 2013 fiscal year is $2,103,659. The Library's sole office is located at 320 Park Avenue, Glencoe, IL 60022. The Library currently has nine (9) full time employees and approximately twenty-three (23) part time employees. The Library has seven elected members of the Board of Trustees and four standing committees, the details of which are shown on the follow page of this Directory. MARCH 2012 RECORDS DIRECTORY (2) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * THE GLENCOE PUBLIC LIBRARY Any person requesting records of the Glencoe Public Library may make such a request in writing either in person or by mail at the Executive Director's office located at 320 Park Avenue, Glencoe, IL 60022. Such request should be made to Ms. Peggy Hamil, Executive Director, at such address, and if she is not present in person, you should see Ms. Teri Hennes, Manager of Adult Services and Electronic Resources. If you desire that any records be certified, you must indicate that in your request and specify which records must be certified. Requests will only be accepted during regular business hours. The library will respond within five (5) business days after receipt of request. The fees for any such records, if the person requesting the records wishes them to be copied, are as follows: No charge for first 50 pages $.10 per page (actual cost) after initial 50 pages if individual requesting records makes copies using Library's equipment $.15 per page after initial 50 pages if library staff make copies $1.00 per certificate if the copies are to be certified. Each request will be acted upon as provided in Public Act 96-0542. Directory 2 of 2 - each of which is to be displayed in the Library.
