Adult Services Librarian
Glencoe Public Library seeks a friendly, enthusiastic, confident and resourceful librarian for a full-time position (37.5 hours/week). Excellent customer service is our priority. Primary responsibilities include providing adults and young adults with reference, readers’ advisory, and computer assistance including help in using digital collections and devices, as well as collection development responsibility for designated subject areas. Additional responsibilities include management of the periodical collection, assistance with compiling statistical reports, and variety of other duties.

We offer a collegial working environment in a supportive community of highly educated and appreciative library patrons. Schedule includes some evening and a rotation of weekend hours. We offer an excellent compensation package including health insurance and generous vacation allowance. Salary begins at $43,429. Administrative Assistant
A part-time, year-round position averaging 18 hours per week, including two evenings a month. Requires the flexibility to work occasional weekend hours

Position Title: Network Administrator
Glencoe Public Library seeks an enthusiastic and resourceful person for a full-time managerial position which is responsible for the development and maintenance of library automation and equipment. 

Qualifications:  4-yr college degree; 3-5 years previous computer and local area network management experience required; experience with library automation systems preferred; programming experience desirable.
